At our last meeting of the RAS more than 92% of the music people brought to share was on CD. However, I'm sure there are many more LPs out there. CDs are more convenient to take to a party. If you have LPs but find that you don't listen to them as much as you did in the past for whatever reason, I think I can help. I provide my clients with one CD archive copy of each LP. The vinyl is triple washed on a VPI Record Cleaner, recorded digitally, copied to a CD-R and inserted into a slim jewel case with a photocopy of the album's cover art.

If you can buy the CD commercially, it will be a cleaner copy and will be less expensive than having me copy it. But, if your favorite recordings are not available for sale, then I think I can help. Mint condition records will produce mint copies; scratchy records will produce scratchy copies. I can, however, remove some of the "pops and ticks" and even produce a copy that masks a skip. It's just a matter of how much time I take and what quality you require.

Next time take your vinyl with you as a CD COPY! Call or email for more information and a sample of what can be done. Please remember, though, this is not a miracle solution.
